Resort Golf Village
An elegant extension of Marina Village, Resort Golf Village offers a blend of beachfront properties, golf-oriented homes, and boutique hotels. Spanning 605 acres, this village may also support the expansion of the marina into new waterways, creating additional waterfront residential opportunities. Residents enjoy access to both the coastline and a potential connection to The Lake Village’s golf courses.
With approximately 8.5% of PDLS’s total density allocated here, this village seamlessly combines sun-soaked beaches with championship fairways. A strong emphasis on premium experiences—such as a beachfront hotel and an exclusive golf club—cultivates a luxurious atmosphere for residents, tourists, and real estate investors alike.
The Resort Golf Village: Área de Planeación 10 (Village 10)
Given its size, scope, and magnitude, PDLS is designed to grow gradually in a controlled manner. The Marina Village (Village 2) will serve as the catalyst for the eventual development of other villages, including the 605-acre Resort Golf Village. It is anticipated that The Resort Golf Village will be developed following The Marina Village, making it a natural extension of the marina district.
Primarily residential in nature, The Resort Golf Village will feature:
Beachfront lots
A beachfront hotel
A golf-oriented boutique hotel
Golf course residences and condominiums
Estate lots
Commercial/condominium developments
There is also a possibility that the planned golf course within The Resort Golf Village may instead be an expansion of the marina, should market demand dictate. The PDLS Master Plan has accounted for this potential adjustment while ensuring that the designated land use remains largely unchanged, apart from the inclusion of waterfront residential options. If this occurs, the residential extension of the marina will provide opportunities for marina-front lots of varying sizes with private docking facilities at home sites.
At the western end of the marina/golf corridor, a 650-unit boutique hotel with direct access to the beach park is planned. Approximately 8.5% of PDLS’s total density is allocated to The Resort Golf Village.
Natural Boundaries & Environmental Considerations
Similar to The Marina Village, natural features have largely defined the boundaries of The Resort Golf Village:
A stable dune forms its northern boundary
A natural topographic ridge defines its southern limit
The western boundary aligns with Village 11, PDLS’s designated buffer village
The eastern boundary meets the western edge of The Marina Village
The far western region of this village includes the only golf holes that directly reach the Sea of Cortez, forming part of the 27-hole Lakes Golf Course linked to The Lake Village (Village 5). Additionally, The Desert Garden Community Park from The Desert Village partially extends into The Resort Golf Village, further enriching its landscape.
